Happy New Year. I hope that this year, your life makes you even happier and more fulfilled. Creatively. And in other ways. (Whichever ways you want. You choose.)
This year, I resolve many things for myself—more exercising, more producing, less consuming—you know the kind. The kind of resolutions that I'll most likely voice next New Year's Day. My strivings toward self-betterment are an important part of my process of living. Have I bettered myself since last year? Objectively? It's hard to tell. Have I buttered myself? That is easier to tell: no. I've spread no butter on myself.
Speaking of butter, speaking of process, you strike me as a man singularly focused on bringing life to new, interesting projects in Chicago. Well, I've got one. At least, I've got an idea. For a new play.
Would you help me through the playwriting process and then direct the play? I've got to make it happen this year, 2011. Why? Seems like a good goal. I'm hoping we can use this blog to discuss the project. Let me know if you have the time. I hope you're well.
